Today has been a weird and long day for me.
So, I've been daydreaming to keep my mind off of other things...
I was looking at some dining room inspiration for my bland room:
My original idea was to use the dark chocolate brown I had left from my bedroom makeover to paint the one back wall.
However, my second thought is it might be too dark in such a small space. Because all the pictures I was drawn to looked like this:
and this:
And I've noticed I'm really drawn to this green color....
Hmm...the wheels are churning.
What do ya think?

Love the green! I have been noticing that it is a very popular color right now in decorating. Go for it!
Yes, those pictures are so inspiring and happy looking!! I love those colors too!
I just know whatever you do it will look fabulous! That bedroom wall is amazing!!!
Can't wait to see it when you reveal it!

oh now I am totally inspired! I love the first pic..the light green with white...not a huge fan of apple green! Can't wait to see what you come up with ;)
I also love that green color. It's so peaceful and elegant! Our bathroom is a similar shade of green (well, more of a sage than some of those colors). I love the green on top and white on the bottom! We painted our dining room brown on top and white on the bottom and LOVE IT.
I like that first one.
We are totally on the same page today. I posted pics for inspiration in my dining area. AND the wall behind my dining table is an apple green!
Ohhh... Pics 4 & 5 are my fav! A pop of green is gorgeous!!! I personally LOVE the blue in pic 4 though (Ralph Lauren's November Skies is a great color similiar to that).
Have fun with it though, decorating can be so fun : )
Hey there, I left something for you over at my blog..come on by when you get a chance!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I like the 1st, 4th, and 5th idea pics you posted. Good luck with the re-decorating!
I agree, I think you should go with something lighter. I like the first green :) Black and White pictures in White Frames and a fun table runner with pops of color :)
